Head of Overseas Compliance (IGC)

Eoin exercises independent oversight of the International Growth Centre’s overseas offices, to help ensure that they meet all necessary legal and other conditions in their host countries and that their management satisfies the School’s governance requirements. He navigates and drives complex institutional process, with multiple stakeholders in a diverse range of developing country jurisdictions, and ensures processes and systems, including reporting, are developed, implemented and maintained in conjunction with School and overseas compliance requirements. He has expert knowledge of international legal and compliance matters, overseas registration and establishment of entities, as well as immigration support. He has extensive project management experience in international development and humanitarian sectors. Eoin's background is in healthcare consultancy and international compliance and governance.

LSE Archivist
Sue Donnelly BA (Hons)

Sue provides advice and guidance on policies and procedures relating to the development of the LSE’s institutional archive and supports departments and individuals in using history and heritage resources in their work. She is also responsible for advising on policies and procedures relating to the management and care of LSE’s artworks.Sue specialises in the history of LSE and often writes articles and gives presentations on the topic. She developed and manages LSE’s institutional archive including collection development, donor relations and public access. Sue has a BA (Hons) in Modern History, a Diploma in Archive Administration. She has extensive experience in the UK HE archive sector, copyright, data protection and freedom of information. She has experience of outreach and publicity including working with the media, presentations and writing for publication, as well as experience of fundraising including grant applications.She is a registered member of the Archives and Records Association.

Business Continuity Manager

Veornique joined LSE in February 2010 as the Directorate Office Manager, and in September 2012 she moved to GLPD (the Unit's predecessor) and took up the post of Business Continuity Manager. Prior to this, she worked in a mix of public and private sector organisations. Veronique set up the School’s business continuity cycle and maintains the network of Business Continuity Reps which spans Departments, Research Centres, Institutes and Service Divisions. She has overall responsibility for running the School’s business impact analyses, running Gold and Silver team exercises, advising on emergency and business continuity planning, and providing training on business continuity related subjects. She is also responsible for the School’s suite of policies, including updating or rewriting documents ranging from the School’s major incident protocols to the anti-terrorism policy. In addition, Veronique contributes to a number of areas of risk management within the School. She maintains the School’s business continuity webpage, which contains resources and documents designed to assist those responsible for business continuity on a local level.
Veronique is London Regional Chair for HEBCoN, a network of Higher Education Institutions in the UK and Ireland committed to sharing and promoting good practice in Business Continuity management, risk management and emergency planning.

Dan is responsible for embedding the processes of Risk Management across the School. He also look after the School's Associated Entities register and the policies & procedures homepage. He has experience in project management, information rights and management information (planning), as well as web editing.

Audit and Insurance Officer

Sarah is responsible for coordinating internal audit activity and insurance within the School. She has audit and risk experience in the HE and healthcare sectors, as well as experience in project management. 

Health & Safety Team

 

Head of Health & Safety

Mel provides advice on strategic and operational health and safety and travel risk management. She develops and recommends policies, procedures and other compliance strategies to ensure the School complies with its obligations under health and safety legislation. She is the secretary to the School's Health and Safety Committee and acts as the first point of contact between the School and the enforcement authorities. Mel holds an MSc in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Management and is a Chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.

Health & Safety Adviser

Lisa supports and deputises for the Head of Health and Safety, providing day-to-day advice, support and guidance to the School community on all matters of legal compliance regarding health, safety and travel risk management. She develops policies and procedures, and is the secretary of the Health and Safety Management Committee.
Lisa's background is in the public sector and event organising. She holds NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, NEBOSH Fire Safety Management and Risk Assessment Certificate.
