The Public Service of Canada
The Public Service of Canada consists of government departments and agencies . Vacancies within the departments and agencies can be searched for at Job Bank.

Parliament of Canada
The Parliament of Canada is made up of the Monarch, the Senate and the House of Commons.
The Monarch is Queen Elizabeth II and her functions are undertaken by the Governor General.
The Senate is made up of senators who are appointment by the Prime Minister and the Governor General - the Senate is similar to the British House of Lords.
The House of Commons is the democratically elected body consisting of Members of Parliament.
