Volunteering events

The LSE Volunteer Centre team organises lots of different volunteering events throughout the year for you to get involved in. You can find all our events listed below and you can book your place on CareerHub.

One-off volunteering

Afraid you don’t have time to volunteer? Or have you never volunteered before? Why not join one of our one-off volunteering opportunities and meet students from around the school whilst doing something good. Opportunities take up maximum one day, with no further commitment.

One-off volunteering: The Felix Project

Come and help out the Felix Project, by helping out in one of their bustling food warehouses to sort and check food for distribution to their charity partners.

One-off volunteering: Greenwich Peninsular Ecology Park

Come and get stuck in at the Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park! We're looking for student volunteers who want to help out the park wardens to maintain a delicate balance of habitats, which play host to our many different wildlife species.

Missing Maps is an open, collaborative project in which you can help to map areas where humanitarian organisations are trying to meet the needs of vulnerable people. SO bring your laptop down to get stuck in!

Did you know that the National Trust has five seasons? Christmas is the fifth and is celebrated by all ages here at Ham. There are over one thousand presents to wrap for our Father Christmas grotto. The Big Wrap takes place in one of the historic, atmospheric rooms at Ham House.

One-off volunteering: knit for Crisis at Christmas
