What is the Change Makers programme?
Change Makers is a new, collaborative programme between LSE and LSE Students’ Union that gives students the chance to make meaningful change at LSE through independent research.
Running across Lent Term 2019, Change Makers will fund up to £50,000 worth of student-led research projects in areas that you have told us we need to do better:
- Community at LSE
- Inclusive education
- Assessment and feedback
- Building connections beyond LSE
At the end of the project you will be asked to present your findings and recommendations to senior leadership across LSE and LSESU.
Who can apply?
The Change Makers programme is open to all students, whatever your level of study. You're welcome to apply to the programme as a group or as an indivdual.
What sort of project can I do?
You are invited to submit your application based on one of the four themes listed above. Take a look at the application guidelines, where you'll find ideas and suggestions to get you thinking about about what your research might investigate.
There are also pre-defined areas of research which you can apply to work on. These project ideas can be found in the Change Makers guidelines.
