Quarantine Awards - Red List Countries

Financial support towards the cost of quarantine from Red List Countries for the start of Michaelmas Term 2021

LSE recognises that the UK government’s traffic light system for international travel, and the associated restrictions and conditions, are likely to be in place when new and returning students arrive on campus for the start of Michaelmas Term in 2021.

Therefore, LSE is making means-tested awards of up to £700 available to help students travelling from red list countries with the costs of mandatory hotel quarantine.

Applications can be made for these awards throughout 2021/22 for support towards the cost of a period of quarantine that was completed before the final campus enrolment date of 5 November 2021. The latest date for applications to be received by the Financial Support Office will be 17 June 2022. The awards will be made as cash awards and transferred directly into the student’s bank account.
