Wellbeing events 2019

Michaelmas term wellbeing
What's on?

It’s not just our bodies that need wellbeing prioritised, it’s our minds too.  Often, we forget - there is no health without mental health.  So, let’s row with both oars during June and beyond by taking steps to keep both our mental health and physical fitness on our wellbeing radars.

Throughout June, we are opening the conversation for everyone to talk about mental health so take a moment to look at what we have in store.

LSE Staff Quiz Day!

As the festive season approaches and social events in diaries start to increase, how aware are you of the impact of alcohol on your body, your mind and your life in general?

When it comes to diet, we all know that making healthy choices on what we eat, and drink contributes to a healthier lifestyle and all too often this becomes low priority at the hands of being short on time to plan or prepare and habitual behaviours amongst other things.

As we approach the festive period with plenty of time to socialise and indulge why not take time to reflect and make conscious decisions on your nutritional wellbeing.

As part of Alcohol Awareness Week, which ran from 11 to 17 November, LSE is collaborating with Alcohol Change UK to help raise awareness of alcohol on daily life, our wellbeing and with the festive period just around the corner, staff wellbeing has arranged for a fun team building activity in December to get us ready to enjoy the festivities while keeping our self-care a priority with our very own LSE staff quiz day!

Which is stronger? Gin or Prosecco?

And what about those boozy Christmas puds?

Book in your team and come along to find out!

What's the point?

The key of the staff quiz day is to take a little break out of the day for staff to have a fun while learning useful information that you can take back to co-workers, family and friends over the holiday period on the best way to enjoy alcohol responsibly.

Sound good? Great!

So, how do we get involved in the fun?

To join in the fun all you need is:
