What's inspired this summer's wellbeing programme

activities, guidance and resources to support collective wellbeing

As you'll have seen from the main landing page, this summer's Get Connected wellbeing programme focuses especially on community and collective wellbeing. As many of us continue to work in a blended way, it's more important than ever that we continue to feel part of the LSE community and (when we're on campus) to take the opportunity to meet up with colleagues, including those outside our immediate work circles.

As you can see on these webpages, throughout the month of August there will be a range of events taking place on campus, as well as a few virtual ones, that are intended to encourage teams to take a little time out for their collective wellbeing. If you're a line manager, you can also play a part by encouraging staff to get involved and even (operational considerations allowing, of course) bringing the whole team along.

While we're talking about line managers, these webpages also include some newly developed guidance for managers about how to build a local wellbeing culture, with suggestions and top tips gleaned from research and the latest thinking about what true wellbeing looks like in a hybrid world.

As always, you can get in touch at Staffwellbeing@lse.ac.uk if you have any comments, suggestions or other feedback about the Get Connected programme, or indeed anything else related to staff wellbeing.

Hope you enjoy the events in August and the rest of the summer.

Best wishes
