Claudine is the Director of Academic and Professional Development (APD) at LSE, a division that brings together LSE LIFE, the Digital Skills Lab and LSE100. APD complements students’ programme of study to make their education at LSE a unique experience; it provides them with development programmes and opportunities covering academic, personal and professional skills.

Combining a long stint in the private sector with her academic interests, her areas of expertise focus on the social psychology of student experience and the challenges and opportunities offered by autonomous teams in a higher education context.

Claudine holds an MSc and a PhD in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MBA and a BA in Economics from McGill University.

She was until recently a trustee of the Action for Stammering Children, a charity that provides therapeutic interventions to children who stammer. This sits really well with her desire for a more inclusive world where any individual, irrespective of where they come from, can fulfil their ambitions.
