About me

Charlotte is a Research Innovation Manager in the LSE Innovation team. She provides dedicated support to innovation projects and has set up several support offerings for academics, including the Software Incubator and FastFrame, which aim to make it easier to develop and test a software innovation. She provides expertise and guidance to LSE academics for all of their innovation needs, working collaboratively on their journey from novel research to a commercial product or service. She also runs the team’s termly RISe talks and is currently working on a tailored process for the formation of social ventures from LSE research.

Charlotte previously worked as a STEM innovation officer at a science and engineering organisation. She provided guidance to researchers on innovation projects from concept to exploitation, securing large amounts of funding to test and progress new ideas, managing industry collaborations, as well as supporting licensing and new venture creation. Charlotte has an MSc in Chemistry and professional training in technology transfer.

Her main ambition is to ensure maximum impact is realised from social sciences research and she is looking forward to working with many more LSE researchers to create societal and economic impact from their world-leading research.
