Explore London - LSE's walking club

LSE's walking club welcomes everyone* from the LSE community to up our step count and enjoy the views of one of the world's most dynamic and beautifully historic cities.

* Explore London is a fully inclusive club for all staff. All speeds will be accommodated.

We'll be taking walks in and around London to see what we see and enjoy meeting and networking with other members of the LSE community.  Walks will typically be within a one hour 'lunch break' time frame.

Our meeting point: The Library Gallery (just inside the main Library entrance), on the first Thursday of every month (weather permitting!), setting off at 12.30pm (please arrive 5 minutes before).

Throughout the year we will have guests from around the LSE community and will have new and interesting routes and topics of conversation to keep every walk completely different.

Anyone with great suggestions on routes to take us off the beaten track or historical knowledge holders who wish to share their tidbits are all welcome!

You can email staffwellbeing@lse.ac.uk to confirm you would like to join us on the day or just turn up early to ensure you meet us before we set off.  You can also let us know if you would like to join the mailing list to get up to the minute information regarding routes and weather changes!

Walks will typically take around an hour although we can mutually agree what ground we want to cover on the day.  All walks will set off at 12.30pm sharp!

Please ensure you have comfortable footwear, appropriate clothing depending on weather conditions and water to keep hydrated throughout all the moving and talking!

It's a great way to meet and get to know our local surroundings and other colleagues in and around campus.

See you then!
