Supporting LSE educators to use GenAI: resources

Support is available for LSE educators developing their knowledge and practice around generative AI in teaching, learning and assessment, and exploring the questions these tools pose for education.

Here you can find audio and video material produced by the Eden Centre and our colleagues from around the School on the topic of AI and Education. We will be adding more material to this page as we produce further resources.

AI and Education Exchange

The AI and Education Exchange is a online repository launched in 2025/26 featuring GenAI case studies in teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development spanning both qualitative and quantitative disciplines in the social sciences. This platform will serve as an active space for colleagues to share experiences and learn from each other's evolving practice with generative AI in education.

We have posted two in the series so far:

AI showcase recordings

The Eden Centre hosted several sessions throughout the 2025/26 academic year. These 45-minute interactive meet-ups (hybrid attendance) provided an opportunity for colleagues to present their innovative use of AI in teaching, learning, assessment, or curriculum design and development in both qualitative and quantitative disciplines in the social sciences. We are planning to host similar events in 2026/27.

Watch video

In this video, Chris talks to us about how LSE100 has been covering generative AI as a topic on its taught undergraduate courses, including giving them opportunities to utilise and experiment with different AI useage. You can find out more about LSE100 here.

How to Build AI Resilience in Assessment

How to Build AI Resilience in Assessment is a resource produced by LSE’s working group on AI and Academic Integrity (a sub-group of the Departmental AI leads group, convened March–November 2025). It covers what AI resilience means, the methods available, and the considerations involved in choosing an approach suited to individual assessments, courses and programmes.
