Support is available for LSE educators developing their knowledge and practice around generative AI in teaching, learning and assessment, and exploring the questions these tools pose for education.
Here you can find audio and video material produced by the Eden Centre and our colleagues from around the School on the topic of AI and Education. We will be adding more material to this page as we produce further resources.
AI and Education Exchange
The AI and Education Exchange is a online repository launched in 2025/26 featuring GenAI case studies in teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development spanning both qualitative and quantitative disciplines in the social sciences. This platform will serve as an active space for colleagues to share experiences and learn from each other's evolving practice with generative AI in education.
We have posted two in the series so far:

AI showcase recordings
The Eden Centre hosted several sessions throughout the 2025/26 academic year. These 45-minute interactive meet-ups (hybrid attendance) provided an opportunity for colleagues to present their innovative use of AI in teaching, learning, assessment, or curriculum design and development in both qualitative and quantitative disciplines in the social sciences. We are planning to host similar events in 2026/27.

Practice Bursts
Here we present LSE colleagues discussing their engagement with AI in their teaching, their approaches to both controlling and utilising it in their classes and assignments, and the feedback received from their students, showcased in our new series of videos.
Prof Charlie Beckett, Professor of Practice, Department of Media & Communications
Watch video
In this video, Charlie tells us what he has learned by talking to journalists around the the world in the last few years about AI, and their fears and hopes for its utility and application in practice.
Dr Nina Vindum Rasmussen, LSE Fellow, LSE100
Watch video
In this video, Nina tells us about her research into how Spotify both monitors its user's habits and utilises them as 'algorithmic events' (such as 'Spotify Wrapped') and how creative student exercises around data gathering can be a fascinating approach to the topic.
Dr Chris Blunt, Associate Professor (Education)/Co-Director LSE100
Watch video
In this video, Chris talks to us about how LSE100 has been covering generative AI as a topic on its taught undergraduate courses, including giving them opportunities to utilise and experiment with different AI useage. You can find out more about LSE100 here.
Ugne Litvinaite, Research Assistant, LSE Eden Centre
Watch video
In this video, Ugne outlines the findings of a student-led research project exploring student attitudes towards academic integrity, assessment and artificial intelligence. The full report is available here and in both the video and report Ugne makes recommendations for class teachers, course and programme leads and colleagues across the School.
Dr Alison Powell, Department of Media and Communications
Watch video
In this video, Alison introduces an intervention made with students considering how to make good policy about the use of AI in classroom settings. The principles are available here and Alison also recommends some further reading:

How to Build AI Resilience in Assessment
How to Build AI Resilience in Assessment is a resource produced by LSE’s working group on AI and Academic Integrity (a sub-group of the Departmental AI leads group, convened March–November 2025). It covers what AI resilience means, the methods available, and the considerations involved in choosing an approach suited to individual assessments, courses and programmes.
