Winter Term Forum 2025
Monday 24 March
Principled Spaces and Inclusive Pedagogies
In March 2023, the Education Forum focussed on inclusive education. Since then, both LSE and the wider HE sector have experienced significant changes, including the approval of our new Access and Participation Plan and increased emphasis from the EHRC on anticipatory duty and assessment. Additionally, we have faced numerous challenges from the broader world, underscoring the need to ensure that students and staff can fully participate in the classroom at LSE.
This term's Education Forum focused on the theme of Principled Spaces and Inclusive Pedagogies exploring how educators can create and sustain environments that are enabling for all students. Through panel discussions and interactive interventions, we aimed to share insights and strategies for fostering inclusive and supportive educational spaces.
Speakers:
Professor Shakuntala Banaji, Department of Media and Communications

Making Feedback work for you and your students
What makes feedback effective for our students' learning and engagement? How can we make the task of giving feedback work efficiently and effectively for staff? Our AT Education Forum looked at learning from colleagues' practices, sharing challenges and concerns, and discussing ways to ensure that our efforts to enhance feedback practices are having a positive impact on students and staff.
