Global Approaches to Generative AI in Higher Education

In April 2025, a conference was co-hosted by LSE and Peking University, China (PKU) on LSE campus 

Under the theme of ‘Global Approaches to Generative AI in Higher Education’, the conference on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 April brought together university leaders, scholars and innovators to showcase cutting-edge research and share best practices on the applications of Generative AI in higher education, and opened with a welcome address from President Larry Kramer (LSE) and Vice-President Wang Bo (PKU. It also featured the launch of a new Student Manifesto for Assessment in the Age of AI authored by LSE students.
