LSE have partnered with Blackbullion, the award-winning financial wellbeing company on a mission to make the world money smart, to help you get smart with money and take control of your financial future.

Blackbullion is an easy-to-use online learning platform and app, the platform is full of videos, articles, quizzes and tools around a range of financial topics including top money tips, saving ideas, sourcing additional funding, scholarships, bursaries and much more.

The app is a personal money management app tailored specifically to address the unique financial needs of students and staff.

How do I access the platform 

You can register for free if you’re an LSE applicant, a current LSE student, staff member or a recent graduate.

  1. Go to blackbullion.com and click ‘Register’.
  2. Follow the onboarding flow.
  3. Select London School of Economics and Political Science as your University.
  4. Enter your LSE student email address.
  5. Verify your LSE student email address by clicking the link in your student inbox
  6. You're in and ready to learn about all things money. 

How to access the app

Simply navigate to the App Store or Google Play Store and search Blackbullion. Then follow the registration instructions in the app. Note! You only need to register once with Blackbullion and use the same login details for both platform and app.

The learning is all self-paced, so you can complete them in your own time. You can also take advantage of tools such as the Spending Snapshot to get a better idea of your spending habits

Blackbullion App

Blackbullion has created a personal finance app, tailored specifically to address the unique financial needs of students.

The app is free, and it’s designed to help students manage their money, build healthy financial habits and empower them to make the most of their student experience.

You can use the app to manage your money alongside the platform. The app is available on both: iOS and Android devices, and you can download it free here.

Blackbullion Funding Hub:

Blackbullion also houses Funding Hub, the UK’s largest hub of support funds, scholarships and grants for students. With your Blackbullion account, you can search and find additional funding opportunities that you might be eligible for.
