Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) is an important annual opportunity to highlight the importance of mental health through wellbeing-related activities and a reminder of the resources that LSE staff and students can access.
The theme of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week is 'Community'. Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone. Communities can provide a sense of belonging, safety, support in hard times, and give us a sense of purpose.
This webpage sets out what's going on around the School campus (as well as a few online events) between 12-16 May. We hope that both staff and students take this opportunity to get involved in a few activities, follow up on any wellbeing resources that they feel are especially relevant or useful to them, and (above all) feel fully part of LSE's community during MHAW and beyond.
