ESE Survey Analysis

The Planning Division provides analysis of key education surveys conducted across LSE to help academic departments and professional service division teams identify and address strategic priorities aimed at enhancing the quality of education and student support. By identifying trends and benchmarking performance, we ensure the School is well-prepared for sector-wide developments and regulatory requirements. The majority of surveys analysed by the ESE specialists in the Planning Division's Management Information Team are run by TQARO, CareersMarket Research and Intelligence, and LSE100

Our work includes developing and maintaining dashboards, producing reports, and in some cases facilitating data collection. The Planning Division also manages analysis produced by StudentVoice.ai, which uses AI to tag student comments by topic and create summaries. This analysis is provided for the NSS, Programme, and Course surveys.

Dashboards are available via Tableau and require a VPN connection or on-campus access. Please contact Planning.Division@lse.ac.uk to for support requesting a Tableau account from DTS.

The sections below bring together existing quantitative and qualitative analysis of LSE surveys. If you have any questions or requests for additional visualisations or analysis, please contact Planning.Division@lse.ac.uk.
