Veornique joined LSE in February 2010 as the Directorate Office Manager, and in September 2012 she moved to GLPD (the Unit's predecessor) and took up the post of Business Continuity Manager. Prior to this, she worked in a mix of public and private sector organisations. Veronique set up the School’s business continuity cycle and maintains the network of Business Continuity Reps which spans Departments, Research Centres, Institutes and Service Divisions. She has overall responsibility for running the School’s business impact analyses, running Gold and Silver team exercises, advising on emergency and business continuity planning, and providing training on business continuity related subjects. She is also responsible for the School’s suite of policies, including updating or rewriting documents ranging from the School’s major incident protocols to the anti-terrorism policy. In addition, Veronique contributes to a number of areas of risk management within the School. She maintains the School’s business continuity webpage, which contains resources and documents designed to assist those responsible for business continuity on a local level.
Veronique is London Regional Chair for HEBCoN, a network of Higher Education Institutions in the UK and Ireland committed to sharing and promoting good practice in Business Continuity management, risk management and emergency planning.
