Susan is the founder and managing director of Susan Liautaud & Associates Limited, which advises global corporations, NGOs, and governmental bodies and their leaders on complex ethics matters.
She is the author of the new book The Power of Ethics and The Little Book of Big Ethical Questions and teaches cutting-edge ethics courses at Stanford University.
She is also the founder of the nonprofit platform The Ethics Incubator. She chairs and serves on a number of global nonprofit boards, such as Vice Chair of the Global Partnership for Education, Chair of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies Advisory Council, and serves on the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board.
She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a JD from Columbia Law School, a MA from University of London SOAS, and two BAs and a MA from Stanford University.
