Suchad Chiaranussati is the Chairman and Founder of SC Capital Partners, a Singapore-based private equity real estate firm which he established in 2004. He chairs the firm’s Investment Committee, and has led SC Capital Partners in its investments and strategic activities since inception, investing across Asia Pacific on behalf of global institutional investors.
Prior to founding SC Capital Partners, Suchad was Principal and Managing Director at Westbrook Partners, where he established and led its Asia investment business. He previously held roles in JPMorgan, Temasek Holdings, and the Central Bank of Thailand. Following the Asian financial crisis, he was appointed in late 1998 as an Advisor by the Central Bank of Thailand and other governmental bodies to assist in the restructuring of Thailand’s public and private sectors.
Beyond his leadership at SC Capital Partners, Suchad is also Chairman of the Investment Committee at SC Oscar Fund Management, a member of the council at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Board Member at GangaGen Biotechnologies.
Suchad holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from LSE, and an MSc in Management Science from Imperial College London.
