Rachel is responsible for coordinating and administering all aspects of inbound study abroad at LSE, including the year-long General Course and GO LSE exchange programmes. She meets with prospective students, offer holders and university staff, advising them on all aspects of applying to and studying at LSE on the study abroad programmes. Rachel also manages the Student Recruitment and Study Abroad Coordinators who have responsibility for student facing admissions and student experience on the General Course and GO LSE exchange programmes.
Within the wider Student Recruitment and Study Abroad team, Rachel also represents LSE at recruitment events, making visits to schools and education fairs as well as presenting at both virtual and on-campus events.
Rachel has worked in global opportunities and the higher education sector for 18 years, joining the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in August 2022. Originally from New York, she studied abroad in London during her undergraduate degree. Following graduation, Rachel returned to the United Kingdom to work and then again to complete graduate studies. She has lived and worked on three continents, travelled to 35 countries and has called London home for 15 years. Rachel can share her knowledge of LSE recruitment as well as her experiences with global mobility opportunities with students.
