Our digital team develops and manages digital projects across the School. We provide support for the School’s digital communication channels. This includes the School’s main public-facing website - and the LSE blogs -

We can help by:

  • Giving guidance on digital content
  • Delivering new digital initiatives
  • Providing CMS support to the community of website and blog editors
  • Giving training on both CMS and digital best practices
  • Leading the way on user experience and user research for digital projects.

Meet the team

Mike Pearson

Mike Pearson, Head of Digital

Mike has overall responsibility for the strategy, ongoing development, and delivery of LSE's digital assets.

He is also responsible for the overall content quality and management of, the Student Hub app, and the content governance and publishing model.

Susanna Hellden

Susanna Hellden, Digital Content Manager

Susanna looks after all prospective student content on the website as well as Student Life, Accommodation and Estates. Susanna also delivers expertise on writing for the web, visual communication, our bespoke website search functionality (Funnelback). 

Matt Hough

Matt Hough, Digital Content Manager

Matt is the Content Manager for LSE's blogs.


Jamie Seenan, Digital Programme Manager

Jamie is responsible for the team's programme of projects as well as the approaches and tools used to successfully deliver them.

Jamie supports the team on business as usual work streams and new projects. He comes from a digital background with good practice of agile and waterfall methodology, his past experience has involved working closely with integrated teams; e.g. strategy, user experience, design and development.

Tara Tape

Tara Tape, Digital Content Manager

Tara looks after the School’s corporate web pages including About LSE, Supporting LSE, Events and News.  Tara is on hand to help with Google Analytics queries, best practice metadata, SEO and CMS training.

Sarah Tan, Digital Product Lead (maternity cover)

Sarah is the product manager for Student Hub, LSE's student app. She is responsible for internal UAT testing, user testing and quality assurance, feature requirements, product documentation, service desk management and training relating to Student Hub.
