LSE staff and students can access almost all electronic journals both on and off campus in the same way.
The first time in any internet session that you try to access an ejournal database or title you will be prompted for your LSE login (network username and password). Once logged in, you will then be able to connect to any other title without having to enter your password again.
The only exceptions to this are a very small number of ejournals which require a special username and password which is kept on LSE For You. A note beside the title on the ejournal portal search results page will alert you to this. To access these passwords:
- Go to LSE For You
- You will be asked for your IT username and password, enter these and click LOGIN
- On the left hand side of the screen (in the contents of the HOME tab) click on Library Passwords
This will show you your library passwords.
