We are thrilled to announce the release of EmbRace the Culinary Tapestry of LSE - a vibrant collection of recipes, stories, and cherished memories contributed by staff and students from across the LSE. Created by the EmbRace Staff Network, this cookbook is a testament to the diverse cultures, traditions, and flavours that make our community so special.
EmbRace the Culinary Tapestry of LSE is more than a collection of recipes; it’s a celebration of the rich tapestry of experiences that unite us. From family heirloom dishes to modern creations, each recipe is accompanied by personal stories that showcase the connections between food, identity, and belonging.
Food plays a crucial role in cultures as it serves as a primary way to connect with heritage, build community, express identity, and celebrate special occasions, often passing down recipes through generations, thus acting as a tangible link to ancestors and cultural traditions; essentially, food is more than just sustenance, it's a symbol of belonging and cultural meaning.
The cookbook is available to download for all LSE staff and students.
Get ready to be inspired by the rich flavours and stories from across our LSE community.
