Can I apply if I’m not part of the LSE Black or Global Majority community in bands 4-6?
No, however there are a range of professional development programmes available which you can learn more about here. https://info.lse.ac.uk/staff/divisions/Human-Resources/Organisational-learning
Why is it for Black and Global Majority staff only?
LSE’s Race Equity Plan outlines steps the School is taking to increase diversity in leadership. This programme supports this goal. Please only apply if you can commit to all sessions. If you can’t we hope to run this programme another time where the timings may better suit you availability.
Does my manager need to give permission for me to attend?
You manager needs to sign off on your form. This programme is an initiative with the support of Andrew Young COO. Please get in touch if we can assist in supporting you secure buy-in from your manager.

What happens if the programme is oversubscribed?
We hope that this is the first of many RISE Coaching Circles. In the meantime, we will direct you to alternative development opportunities available through Organisational Learning and Embrace.
