The CIVICA Student and Early-Stage Researchers (CSESR) Board brings together student representatives from all CIVICA institutions. The CSESR Board represents the voice of CIVICA students in all areas of CIVICA, particularly those directly relevant to students asuch as student mobility, CIVICA course offers, research initiatives, the digital campus, library services, outreach activities and non-curricular activities, as well as to the future development of the alliance.
Represented in the meetings of the CIVICA Steering Committee and Managing Team, they proactively contribute to conveying the voice of the students and ESRs and advise on strategic issues from a student perspective.
The CSESR Board will organize themselves in a manner they determine, and once established, to adopt their own rules of procedures and to select/designate their representatives to participate in the institutional governance of CIVICA and CIVICA activities. The Board will be at least 3 times per academic year.
What you should know:
- student or (post)doctoral researcher of any age, study programme and nationality enrolled full-time at one of the ten CIVICA universities.
- passionate about the value of collaboration across borders
- excited about the CIVICA alliance and its opportunities
- previous leadership experience in a student club, volunteer role, or place of employment
