Hosted by Professor Elizabeth Stokoe, Academic Director of Impact, and Keri Rowsell, Head of Operations at the 100x Impact Accelerator, the series will be centred around a fireside chat conversation between researchers and their partners, with networking and time for discussion, all over a free lunch. The series aims to be a source of inspiration, information, and support. Colleagues will also be able to access fireside chat recordings via the new Engagement and Impact Hub. Register free (for lunch numbers!) and we look forward to seeing you there.
Wednesday 5 February, 12-1pm, Marshall Building
The next fireside chat will be a spotlight on PhD researchers and their impactful partnerships, including:
Marta Grabowska (Department of Health Policy and 100x Research Affiliate) who is working with social venture OneDay Health (ODH) to inform policy and improve healthcare delivery in low- and middle-income countries.
Sacha Hilhorst (Department of Sociology) who worked with think tank Common Wealth on a policy report "A Tale of Two Towns: Economic Disadvantage and Political Disempowerment in Ex-Industrial England".
Details to follow for subsequent sessions on Wednesday 5 March, Wednesday 2 April, Wednesday 7 May and Wednesday 4 June.
