Hosted by Professor Elizabeth Stokoe, Academic Director of Impact, and Keri Rowsell, Head of Operations at the 100x Impact Accelerator, the series will be centred around a fireside chat conversation between researchers and their partners, with networking and time for discussion, all over a free lunch. The series aims to be a source of inspiration, information, and support. Colleagues will also be able to access fireside chat recordings via the new Engagement and Impact Hub. Register free (for lunch numbers!) and we look forward to seeing you there.
Wednesday 2 April, 12-1pm, Marshall Building
In our April event, Professor Elizabeth Stokoe will be in conversation with Dr Tom Reader, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science, who has worked with multiple partners in industry and the public sector on practical tools to prevent failures and adapt to feedback and change. They will be joined by Professor Steve Brett, a consultant in intensive care at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and former President of the Intensive Care Society, who has worked with Tom over many years on how to take ideas from psychology around decision-making and culture and use them to improve delivery of treatments in ICU.
Details to follow for subsequent sessions on Wednesday 7 May and Wednesday 4 June.
