Sexual violence support worker


Free, confidential and independent support for men, boys and non-binary people who have survived any kind of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.


The Sexual Violence Support is provided via SurvivorsUK. It provides a safe space online or in person to talk about any sexual violence you have been subjected to, or to find out about longer term support.

Appointments can take place online or in person. During these appointments men and non-binary staff and students can access:

  • Specialist, independent and confidential support from SurvivorsUK.* SurvivorsUK acknowledges, supports, and advocates for men and non-binary people who have been affected by rape or sexual abuse at any time in their lives They also support friends and family who have been affected via their Helpline and Group Work programme. 
  • Sessions available on 2 dates per term. You can book an appointment or attend a drop in space.
  • Space to talk through the different impacts of sexual violence and what support options are available both within and outside the School
  • Survivor-led, exploring what feels right for each person within a model of empowerment
  • Links to SurvivorsUK therapeutic or advocacy services where wanted and appropriate.

SurvivorsUK can offer a range of support services including:

  • counselling and therapy appointments
  • online chat
  • IVSA Support
  • Group work sessions

All services are provided by trained professionals who as specialists in the field of male sexual violence have helped many men to work through their experiences.

For female identifying students and staff, LSE partners with Rape Crisis who can offer online appointments with an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor.

Session appointments:

The support from SurvivorsUK will be on campus 2 dates per term.

The day will be split by booked appointments and a drop in space. If a time is free to book you will see the word free next to it, if the session is booked and unavailable you will see the word booked next to it. Sessions can take place online or in-person.
