Each year, usually in early September, the SCR hosts an event especially for retired members of the SCR. This is an opportunity for old friends and colleagues to get together and socialise. The event usually includes a short speech from a School staff member, on a topic of current interest. 

The ticket price includes refreshments upon arrival in the morning, and a buffet lunch accompanied with soft drinks and wine. 

The event is held in the Staff Common Room, and normally runs from 11am - 2.30pm. It is an informal event, and partners and friends of retired staff are also welcome..
