LSE Undergraduate Research Portal

Supporting undergraduate research at LSE

LSE is a vibrantly scholarly research community of staff and students, and undergraduate students are a key part of this. All undergraduate degrees begin with a group research project as part of LSE100, giving students a chance to conduct an original investigation with peers from across the School. Research skills and activity are becoming increasingly integrated into the undergraduate curriculum, and new extracurricular research opportunities are launched each year.

These pages bring together undergraduate research activities from across LSE. For students, we explore reasons to carry out research, and offer information on how to get involved. For staff, we outline support for developing further research opportunities.
