LSE's school-wide employee and manager Self-Service portal, MyView allows you to view and change your personal details, view your payslips, access details of the team you manage, and more.

You no longer need to connect to the LSE Network via the Remote Desktop or VPN to access MyView. Instead, you may be asked to authenticate via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Did you know that you can use MyView to update all sorts of personal data, including your protected characteristics? Updating your personal data will help to build a more accurate picture of our diverse staff community so that the School can put in place appropriate measures that enhance the employment experience for everyone. We take the experiences of our staff very seriously - understanding our staff community better means we can ensure that we have the right support in place and initiatives tailored for those who would most benefit. 

More accurate personal data can help the School to:

  • Introduce reasonable adjustments for individual staff
  • Improve wellbeing support
  • Produce better policies and procedures
  • Grow our staff networks

All personal data is kept confidential in line with the School’s GDPR obligations and is only shared on an aggregated basis to preserve the anonymity of individual staff. Please contact if you have any questions. 

Employee Self-Service (ESS)

Employee Self-Service (ESS) provides all employees with instant online access to:

  • Personal Details
  • Bank Details
  • Next of Kin
  • Contact Details
  • Emergency Contact
  • Equal Opportunities

You can also view and download your pay documents including payslips and P60 certificates in MyView.

Manager Self-Service (MSS)

As a manager you also have access to real time information on your direct reports and additional members of your team.

You can also review and respond to annual leave and sickness absence requests for your team.

Annual Leave

Staffing groups that are able to book their annual leave through MyView include Professional Servcies staff and Policy staff.

Please refer to the Annual Leave pages and Annual Leave Pocket Guide for more information on understanding your annual leave entitlement.

Annual leave entitlements are comprised of 25 days annual leave, 8 days of public holiday and 8 days of School Closure (Easter, Christmas). When combined, you'll usually receive 41 days. 

There is an additional Bank Holiday on 3rd June 2022.  Therefore entitlements for full time staff for 2022 is 42 days (pro rata for part time staff).

Please ensure that all annual leave, bank holidays and school closure days are booked and approved on MyView to ensure accurate balances and carry forward figures for the year.  If you are new to the school, work part-time or an irregular work pattern you will need to book these yourself on MyView.
