What moves you? Sport Relief at LSE

Sport Relief 2018

Take part, raise money, feel good. Whatever moves you, do it for sport relief!

Doing it for Sport Relief - the event explained

Sport Relief is one of the most well-known fundraising initiatives in the UK.

The money raised supports a fantastic range of projects within the UK and across the world – from supporting those living with mental health issues to providing lifesaving maternal healthcare for mothers and babies, from helping those at risk of trafficking or domestic violence to joining the global fight to end malaria. This year, LSE’s very own Sport Relief event offers a week-long programme of activities, open to all students and staff, to support these very worthy causes. Take part, raise money, feel good.

Sports Relief 2018 will run from the 19th to the March, during which time we’ll be hoping that as many of you as possible will take the opportunity to get active and help to raise money for charity.

Above you can explore the full programme of activities, and you can book places with our online booking system. Activities are free of charge to LSE staff and students.

Frequently asked questions

Who can take part?

All members of LSE staff and students are welcome!

How do I sign up for an activity?

Simply follow the ‘Sign Up Here’ link in the Activities page. This will take you through to the Training and Development system where you can book your slot. Some of the week’s activities don’t require you to sign up beforehand - the description under the activity will tell you if this is the case.

I’m interested in an activity but it’s been fully booked. Is there anything I can do?

Register your interest and we can explore ensuring a fair balance of activities booked to ensure everybody who wants to gets the chance to participate.

Do I need to donate money in order to take part?

Donations are voluntary and we certainly won’t be checking whether anyone has donated before they take part in an activity. We do though hope that you take a moment to look at some of the good causes that Sport Relief donations support. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
