Sofia joined LSE in June 2024 to lead the market research and intelligence function within Recruitment and Admissions. She has substantial experience designing and delivering research projects in Higher Education and the private sector, using primary and secondary sources to bridge knowledge gaps. Sofia's expertise spans both qualitative and qualitative data collection methods (notably online and telephone surveys, in-depth interviews and focus groups).
She is responsible for:
- Developing a market research offer and calendar that addresses the team's and School's needs
- Conducting research to provide evidence that informs decision-making in the team and beyond
- Working with colleagues across the School to embed market research findings
- Supporting academic departments in the programme development process
