Find out more about our team

The Public Affairs Team at LSE are fantastic. They have a firm grasp of what it takes to get research into the public domain and have the know-how and connections to make it happen. This is a team who care about their work. It has been one of my best experiences working with colleagues at LSE.

- Dr Grace Lordan, Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science

We help politicians and policymakers by identifying how policy challenges can be tackled using the latest LSE research and data, and selecting the best LSE experts to assist. We provide research summaries, policy recommendations, and platforms for academics to present their policy-relevant research. We also support LSE's Leading for London agenda, reinforcing the School's relationship with our home city through greater civic engagement.

The team also manages LSE’s institutional relationships with international organisations such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Economic Forum (WEF).

We bring together LSE experts and politicians, commentators, campaigners, and think tanks at private and public events, like Evidence Week and party conferences.

This is part of LSE's Knowledge Exchange and Impact work.
