Reset your password with Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)

Please allow up to 30 minutes for your new password to be synchronised across all our services, databases and servers

As long as you have set up at least two forms of authentication in the Security Info page, you are now able to reset a forgotten password yourself via Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).  This service is available for use 24 hours a day all year round.  You do not need to contact Tech Support to use it. 

N.B. If you know your password and just want to update it, please visit the Change your LSE Password page. 

SSPR Setup

Most users should find they already have two set up so they can use this service, however you may still need to add another.  To check whether you have two methods already set up, or to add more please visit:

How to use SSPR

1). Make sure you have prepared a new password and understand LSE’s password policy. Click here for advice on creating a strong password. 

2). Either:
- Visit the SSPR Page, and confirm your LSE Email address:   https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/ 

 - Click "Cant' access your account?" at any Microsoft login prompt, or 

- Click "Change password" in the Microsoft Authenticator App

Using the SSPR page

1). Choose your verification method

2). Enter the verification code or approve the notification on your Authenticator Application 

3). Reset your password, in accordance with LSE’s Password Policy
