What we do

IT Architecture is a series of principles, guidelines or rules used by an enterprise to inform the process of acquiring, building, modifying and interfacing IT resources throughout the organisation.

There are a variety of specialisms within IT Architecture. Some roles are technology focused, others are more focused on business needs and the strategic direction of the organisation.

The roles that we have in our team cover the following architectural disciplines.

Enterprise Architecture

An Enterprise Architect is concerned with aligning the organization's IT capabilities with the overall business goals. Enterprise Architecture shows how our technology, information, and business processes flow together to achieve goals.

Solution Architecture

Solution Architecture describes the architecture of technological solutions.  Solution architecture is a more hands on role concerned with the technical decisions involved in acquiring, organising and implementing IT solutions to achieve defined business outcomes.

Data Architecture

Data Architecture describes the structure and governance of an organization's data assets. The Data Architect defines how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing data.

Infrastructure Architecture

Infrastructure architecture refers to the sum of our IT hardware and services that are shared across the enterprise. Ensuring our technical systems and infrastructural services support the businesses requirements is the role of the infrastructure architect.
