Design Competition

Will you design our next honey label?

Submit a design to be in with a chance

There are urban bee colonies on the rooftop of Connaught House which are cared for by the LSESU Beekeeping Society, bee expert Barnaby Shaw and Dan Reeves (LSE's Residences Sustainability Officer).

Each year, the honey harvested from these colonies is jarred and sold by the LSESU Beekeeping Society. To celebrate LSE’s 130th anniversary, we’re inviting YOU to design a special edition label for this year’s honey jars.

Please use the template linked below. The label is small and measures 8x5 cm, so keep that in mind. Also, the design must include the word “honey”. Beyond that, it is entirely up to you!

Please submit your final PDF design to Beatrice (b.clementel@lse.ac.uk) by end of day, Sunday 7 December. This competition is only open to LSE staff and students so please use your LSE email when submitting.

You can download the PDF Label Template or the Canva template here (DO NOT work on this link, please make a copy in your own Canva account before editing).

The winner will be featured on LSE official media channels and their design will be printed on every label!
