This summer, thanks to the generous support of alumnus Hermes Li, we piloted a new programme to give undergraduate students the opportunity to attend a summer school at Humboldt University of Berlin and SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
For the students selected, it was an opportunity to gain a new perspective on their studies and a unique chance to try out university life in Europe. Some participants even added language classes to their course and stayed on to explore their host country.

Cezara Zaharia, who studied in Warsaw and travelled solo for the first time, enjoyed the interactive teaching and learning style of the summer school, especially working on actionable recommendations for a real-world business:
'This practical activity was particularly exciting, as it allowed me to apply the concepts I had been learning in the previous week to a real-world scenario.'

Tania Chibwana, who studied at Humboldt, explored Berlin thoroughly and forged lasting friendships. Participating in moot courts and exchanging with local lecturers also made her experience truly enriching:
'Commercial litigation has now become one of my prospective practice areas and the class I was part of was truly amazing. I was able to hone my public speaking and communication skills extensively and most importantly, create friendships for life.'
