The Workplace Challenge

a fun opportunity to team up with colleagues to improve your fitness and achieve personal health goals

Last summer, a craze swept the LSE campus. Staff wore grooves into the pathways of Lincolns’ Inn Fields, and a thriving black market for working pedometers appeared overnight. "Steps" was the word on everybody's lips.

That time is here again.

Last year we held our very first LSE staff Get Active Festival! This year we will be doing it all again including participating in the Workplace Challenge.

Whatever your current activity level, the Workplace Challenge offers a fun opportunity to team up with colleagues to improve your fitness and achieve personal health goals, whilst engaging in a bit of healthy competition with your colleagues.

What is the workplace challenge?

The Workplace Challenge is a physical activity initiative designed to encourage physical activity and sport within an organisation.

All you need to do is create an account with your LSE email address, and start logging your walking, running, cycling, swimming, dancing or gardening.

In the spirit of friendly competition, you record your activity online using your own fitbit, pedometer or phone app.
