IRDAP enabled postgraduate courses

with re-assessments in August

IRDAP enabled postgraduate courses have re-assessments in August.

A small number of postgraduate courses are being 'IRDAP enabled' from the 2024-25 academic year onwards.

This means that students on these courses who need to take these assessments after failing the course or deferring an assessment will do so during the In-Year Resit and Deferral Period in August. If you fail or defer again then you will take the assessment when it normally runs the following academic year.

There will be no assessments for these courses during the normal Postgraduate Resit and Deferral Periods (RDAP) in January and May/June.

Courses which are currently IRDAP enabled are:

EC402
EC411
EC413
EC417
EC421
EC423
EC424
EC426
EC427
EC428
EC453
EC465
EC475
EC476
EC484
EC485
EC487
EC4B5

All other postgraduate courses (e.g. those with a course code following the pattern XX4XX or XX5XX) will follow the normal pattern with resit and deferred assessments taking place during RDAP1 (in January) and RDAP2 (in May/June)
