Supporting your students

There are a number of resources available to LSE students to support them to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding, and to explore some of the questions posed by generative AI tools. 

• Generative AI: Developing your AI Literacy (LSE staff and students only). This course was developed by the Digital Skills Lab and LSE100 in collaboration with colleagues from around the School, including the Data Science Institute, LSE Careers, LSE LIFE, and LSE Library. This course brings together resources from different parts of LSE to help students develop their skills in generative AI literacy.   
• LSE’s library provides guidance on citing and referencing at LSE, including how to reference generative AI tools. 
• The Library also provides guidance on copyright and AI. 
• The Digital Skills Lab provides guidance on the use of Microsoft Copilot. 

Remember to always ensure that your students are aware of the Department or course’s position on the authorised use of generative AI.
