Casual contracts are used when employing an individual on a one-off basis for no more than 35 hours, over a period of no longer than one month.
Those who are employed on a casual basis need to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in the UK before they start employment. The School reserves the right to not pay for any work done before a Right to Work check is completed.
The Casual claim form can be downloaded from the LSE Payroll webpage. Once the form is completed, please send the digitised version to email@example.com for processing.
For more detail on how to appoint an individual on a casual basis, please contact a member of the HR Hourly & Casual Operations team.
