Film services

Our small team of filmmakers work closely with departments and individuals to create films which promote the work that is done across the School. These can range from marketing films, to short documentaries and promotional films, for research dissemination and the School’s wider strategic objectives.

We upload films to enable departments and professional service divisions to publicise their work by embedding the content on their websites and blogs. We also provide advice on using video content within the CMS and we provide video usage statistics.

We upload, categorise and monitor videos on the LSE website and external video channels such as YouTube, including those from the public events programme, which are filmed by an external production company.

Please see the video branding guide which outlines LSE video conventions. This should be adhered to when creating or commissioning new video content.

Audio services

We edit, produce, publish and promote LSE’s ever popular public events podcast series. We also record, produce, publish and promote the award-winning LSE IQ podcast, in partnership with colleagues from the Media Relations Office.

We manage the School’s extensive catalogue of podcasts and distribute these to our listeners via the LSE website and external podcast channels such as SoundCloudiTunes and Apple Podcasts whilst also managing usage statistics.

We upload audio files to enable departments and professional service divisions to publicise their work by embedding the content on their websites, blogs and social media. We also provide advice on using audio content within the CMS and audio usage statistics.

Please see our podcast guidance document for information on how to produce a podcast.
