What you should do if you receive suspicious or unwanted emails:

  • Unwanted emails are generally caught by our junk filter and prevented from reaching your inbox, but in some cases might not be (for example, customised filters or forwarding rules)

  • If you receive a suspicious email, please be mindful that it may not come from LSE or be safe.

  • If you are asked to pay money to access a service or disclose your personal information or data, please consider it carefully before replying or accepting any such offer: you may risk losing your money, and disclosing your data insecurely.

  • Your LSE credentials are not compromised by simply receiving a spam email. However, if you feel that an email is suspicious, please report it as an Outlook attachment to phishing@lse.ac.uk
