As a community it is our responsibility to understand the realities of racism and race-based privilege – and take action to eliminate it.

I am Head of Employer Engagement (LSE Careers) and also Chair of LSE EmbRace. Having worked at LSE for almost 10 years and completed a MSc in Human Resources & Organisations (with Distinction), I am proud to be part of the LSE community! LSE’s motto is "rerum cognoscere causas" which means to know the causes of things. As a community it is our responsibility to understand the realities of racism and race-based privilege – and take action to eliminate it. I want to work for an institution that proactively champions the development and progression of all its staff. I want to be part of an organisation that recognises the need to take meaningful action against racism. I want to be part of an organisation that respects that no decision about us should be made without us! Let’s work together to ensure LSE really is a place for everyone.

I am proud to be an LSE member of staff, an LSE Alumna, a wife, a daughter and a friend. I am proud to be Black, African and British!
