Our work on community engagement:
Increase alumni engagement through collaboration with the LGBTQ+
Alumni Network
and
Spectrum
Staff Network.
Increasing cross-collaboration between the School,
Spectrum
Staff Network and the Students' Union.
Launched
The Hall-Carpenter Room
in 2023, with a series of events for marginalised communities at LSE, and a celebration and exhibition of the Hall-Carpenter Archive: the largest collection of gay activist history in the UK.
Celebration and marking of LGBTQ+ History Month and Pride events.
Outcomes and impact:
Ensuring long-term connection of LGBTQ+ students and alumni with LSE community on an ongoing basis.
Collaborative planning of Pride events and
LGBT+ History Month
; and regular communication and consultation on LGBTQ+ initiatives, such as a joint conference organised by
Spectrum
and
EmbRace
to be held in Summer 2025.
Increase in community-led activities and cross-network collaborations.
Increased collaboration and engagement across teams and groups regarding LGBTQ+ inclusion.
