Professor Larry Kramer, LSE's President and Vice Chancellor, led LSE's recent trip Asia with visits to Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur. Professor Kramer received a warm welcome from key partners in academia, supporters, alumni and students. He also met with colleagues at some of our international partners including Tsinghua University and Fudan University.
As part of this visit, he gave a lecture on the role of social sciences to faculty and students at Fudan University where President JIN Li welcomed LSE's delegation. He also got the chance to visit the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) accompanied by Professor Yijia Jing who co-directs the LSE-Fudan Research Centre for Global Policy with Professor Bingchun Meng.
This visit to the region featured many other opportunities to engage with alumni groups and students in various locations.
