LSE Generate Community

Welcome, all (no ifs or buts). Make yourself at home!

At Generate we know that building a community is a key part of the entrepreneurial journey and we want to share our way of building a community at LSE Generate for past, current and future students of the LSE either on campus or beyond.

Here are just some of the options you can choose from:

  • GenDen - Come and work with us in our co-working space on campus.
  • Fika Fridays - Taking time for yourself away from a digital screen is super important and all work and no play is a recipe for beyond-exhausted entrepreneurs! Once a month, we host a community social in the GenDen. What is Fika Friday? Imagine you’re relaxing on the Swedish Alps with your food and drink of choice… only you’re not in Sweden, you’re in the GenDen and incredibly tired from a week of grinding. Fika is the Swedish custom where people gather to eat, drink and put the world to right in casual conversation, and whilst we know we can’t take you to Sweden for the real thing, we have brought this tradition to the GenDen. So come along and join us once a month of a Friday during term time. Check out our Eventbrite to grab your ticket to the next social.
  • GenDen Community Slack - We love the idea of having a big Generate community and know that our fabulous founders and networks can’t all convene in the same place at the same time, so we have brought this energy to a GenDen Community slack group. A combination of 400+ fellow LSE students, alumni and staff founders, join this group to stay up-to-date with all things Generate updates and find out what other founders are up to as well as promote your own events and ask all the entrepreneurial questions you may have. Join our slack channel here!
  • Eventbrite - We always aim to promote all of our programmes on our social media or through a good old-fashioned poster in the GenDen, but you can also follow our Eventbrite page here to see what events we have coming up and register your spot. This will be our first point of call for publicizing our events and keeping you in the loop if there are any changes.
  • Newsletter - Last, but certainly not least, we send a monthly newsletter with all updates, upcoming events and founders spotlights. Had a big win for your start-up? Let us know and we’ll make sure to add it to the newsletter for you! Don’t worry though, we’ll never spam you - one newsletter per month is more than enough! Subscribe here.
