Partnerships with three local nurseries to support LSE families
We're pleased to share more details about our ongoing partnership scheme with three local nurseries, for working families wanting to access discounted childcare close to campus. The scheme is open to both LSE staff and students.
Our partnership nurseries
When choosing the nurseries to partner with, a number of considerations were taken into account, including their Ofsted rating, location, availability of spaces, outside space, operating hours, fresh food provision, emergency care support and more. In addition, there will be an LSE representative on the management committees of all three nurseries, ensuring that the decisions made provide the best possible outcomes for our community.
The scheme, discount and other benefits
For staff, the discount offered varies between 15% to 25% as follows:
- Turtles: 15% discount
- Smithfield: 15% discount
- Kido Clerkenwell: 25% discount
Staff can pay through a salary sacrifice scheme. Please click here to see the process for LSE staff. You can access the Employee Agreement Form here.
For students, the School provides a 25% subsidy towards the standard nursery rates for the three nurseries we have entered into partnerships with. Please click here to see the process for LSE students. You can access the Student Agreement Form here.
Emergency childcare provision
The excellent Turtles Nursery (rated Outstanding by Ofsted) can offer emergency care provision for staff (or students) who need additional childcare support at short notice. Please contact Turtles direct to arrange this.
