All About Trans

All About Trans aims to change how the media understands and portrays trans people, to a greater public understanding of trans issues and wider acceptance.

Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN)

AVEN hosts online resources and support about and for the asexual community and friends including an FAQ.

CliniQ

CliniQ provides counselling and holistic wellbeing for trans, non-binary and gender diverse people. There are venues in Soho and St Pancras. Email: counselling@cliniq.org.uk 

Club Soda

Club Soda's Queers Without Beers is a monthly alcohol-free social group, meeting in central London on the third Wednesday of every month.

Drugwatch

The US-based organisation Drugwatch has an LGBTQ+ Comprehensive Health & Well-being Guide on its website. The guide covers a range of topics related to the experiences and circumstances of LGBTQ+ people, including physical health, fitness and weight issues, HIV & STDs, mental health, youth, coming out, homelessness, substance abuse and suicide.

Galop

Galop is London’s LGBT anti-violence and abuse charity, providing advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse. Galop also supports LGBTQ people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.

Genderbread Person

Created by Sam Killermann, the Genderbread Person is a helpful visual guide to understanding gender and its relationship to identity, attraction, expression and sex.

Gendered Intelligence

Gendered Intelligence works to increase visibility and understanding about diversity of gender and gender expression. They provide services for young trans people, support for parents and carers and training for professional staff.

InterAct

InterAct work to raise intersex visibility, empowering young intersex advocates and promoting laws and policies that protect intersex youth.

National LGB&T Partnership

Opening Doors London

Opening Doors London is the biggest charity providing information and support services specifically for older LGBT+ people in the UK, aged over 50. It provides social and community-building events, and specialist training for relevant organisations.
