Interfaith Buddies

Want to make new friends from different backgrounds and countries?
Want to learn more about other people's beliefs?
Interested in informal conversations around faith and belief and its role in society today?

After an initial introductory meeting early in Michaelmas we connect you with students across different faiths and backgrounds. We will set you themes to discuss in your groups with a facilitator from the Faith Centre team. Then it's over to you to talk and to listen, and to build friendships and understanding across diverse backgrounds.

Groups meet weekly for dialogue on topics from worship to food, and religion in current affairs today. and you can be of any faith or none.

We try to ensure groups are as mixed and diverse as possible and you will be able to sign up for a time slot that suits you. We will provide some ground rules for the meetings.

The induction session will be held at 5pm - 6pm on 30th September in the Faith Centre. If you can't come due to religious observance or schedules not to worry - just sign up and then let us know which group you would like to join.
